Information Management and Architecture Internship at Medical Imaging Corporation

Project Summary:
Assisted in the initial planning and establishment of the information architecture for the launch of the corporate website of Medical Imaging Corporation. Assisted in technical writing of company information for the development of corporate website. Managed information in an effective presentation manner, compiled data on corporate background, designed effective information systems that align with corporate incentives along with overall system goals.
Project Objective:
Medical Imaging Corporation is a company that provides services in BOT medical equipment contracts. As a local company in Taipei, though it excels in providing outstanding services, its virtual presence is nonexistent. I was an assistant to the company CEO to help organize and in collecting the necessary specs for putting up a website. I helped structured the information architecture of the website and in developing effective navigation of the website. I was also in charge in collecting effective content and further translated the Mandarin content into English.
Learning Objective:
I worked with my client and a back-end programmer in developing this website and learned to accommodate to the different business goals. I also learned how to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
